Help us find new home for the Skymaster!

This rare surviving Douglas C-54 Skymaster (military DC-4), which has WW2 service history, is up for sale! She needs to go to a good home that will preserve her and, perhaps, put her back in the air where she belongs.

She last flew some 12 years ago and has been parked up ever since. Engine runs have been carried out periodically. The airframe was pristine when it arrived for a starring role in a movie about the Berlin Airlift; unfortunately the movie was dropped and the aircraft stayed behind in the UK.

In addition there are 3 spare engines available (1 x engine is low hours with 16 cycles) and all Logbooks are available for airframe, propellers & engines etc.. With a bit of work she could get going again.

More info on the airframe can be found here.

If you’re interested in acquiring this wonderful piece of aviation history please contact Allan Vogel on +44 (0)7769 934646 or allansglobalaviationspares@gmail.com

The last thing we want to see is it get chopped up like the other one!
